At Incredible Living, we offer a faith-based approach to collaboration and personal growth for Christians who are seeking a greater harmony and fulfilment in their personal and professional relationships.

We can help you live your best life by truly understanding yourself and others through specialized family, personal and professional coaching services, the Incredible Creatures Adventure Kits for families, homeschools and other groups, in addition to workshops and other events.

It all starts with discovering your behavioural style based on Dr. John Trent’s four animal characters: Lion, Otter, Golden Retriever or Beaver by creating your own insights profile.

We believe passionately that fulfilling relationships grow from a deep understanding of, and compassion for, those around us.

Meet Karen Van Riesen
Incredible Living owner, Associate Certified Life Coach (ICF), Incredible Creatures co-creator

Coordinating these efforts is Karen Van Riesen, using her 20+ years of training and experience as a life coach, as well as her own life experiences as a spouse, mother, friend, colleague and former homeschooler, to help you understand your God-given strengths and how to use these to build, heal and thrive in your personal and professional relationships.

Karen’s coaching process is effective and proven, challenging you to work through difficult situations, set realistic goals, break through obstacles and celebrate your achievements and “aha!” moments along the way.

As a life coach, she helps individuals and teams identify their innate strengths and create strategies toward a more fulfilling life; including rewarding career choices and strengthening communication skills and relationships on a professional and personal level.

As a team building and professional staff coach, Karen helps these groups identify strength deficiencies and assist them in creating a strategy to fill those gaps, while helping teams within the organization combat the ‘silo’ mentality and create a dynamic synergistic organization.

In addition to Karen’s coaching services, she is regularly invited to speak and present workshops at conferences throughout North America and has worked with non-profits such as The Mustard Seed and the Salvation Army and volunteered overseas with Youth with a Mission.

Her passion for education and helping others has also led her to work with the Micah Project Ugandan Partnership, a Christian school that provides a quality education for children living in deep poverty in rural Uganda.
