How Incredible Creatures was born!

I, Karen, first discovered Leading from Your Strengths personality assessments in 2008. After reading the results of my online profile, for the first time in my life I had a report I could easily understand and remember. Not only that, but it focused on my strengths! Having my behavioral style identified and affirmed was such an empowering experience for me that I flew to Phoenix that summer and became certified in using the assessment with clients.

Betty and I both found the information so transformational that, as parents, we asked ourselves, “how could children discover their God-given strengths?’ Using our background as parents, Educators and Professional Life Coaches, we then sat down and over the next year created the Incredible Creatures Interactive Adventure.

We used the science behind Dr. John Trent’s Lion, Otter, Golden Retriever and Beaver behavior styles and Rodney Cox’s Leading From Your Strengths assessment. The end result was an live interactive adventure that we presented to groups of children in schools, churches, camps and families. By putting the adventure into a kit, we thought that more people could have access to it and more children world-wide could benefit from discovering their God-given strengths and find out how God made them.
